tears in heaven

about a month ago, my brother's best friend passed away. he left this world with 3 other of his good friends in a tragic car accident on 60 fwy. he is a good kid who grew up with my brother. he was one of the major support for his family. he, who's only 21 years old, is a very talented bass guitar player. God granted him a great sense of humor to bring joy to the world while he was alive. i couldn't believe what i heard over the phone when my parents told me that. This, is the first time that i 've ever felt death has been so close to me. it's too close that i couldn't believe it. while everyone is wondering why did the accident happen in a church outting, we knew God took them to heaven because he loves them so much, too much that he doesn't want them to suffer in the world anymore. i will always remember you, Richard. i know you're happily living in heaven now. you 've changed my life. life is so short, compare to God, we are so small and tiny, so we need to use our life wisely.

last week, the devastating earthquake in china kill possibly more than 50,000 people in sichuan. couple years ago, when the tsunami swipe over the indian ocean, it took away so many lives that everyone was morning so bad about it. compare to the earthquake, personally, i have deeper feeling over it. my brother's friend's accident change my point of view of life. i can almost feel the pain from the earthquake survivor who lost their love ones. my heart tremble and couldn't imagine further of the pain. during the disaster, we found out stories of how parents tried to save their babies and sacrifice themselve, teacher tried to lead student out from the building and trap themselves under the rubbles, husband and wife hold on to each other really tight that no one can separate their dead bodies...a mom save her baby and left her baby a text message saying,"baby, if you survive, remember i love you!" ...etc..etc...
i couldn't control my tears rolling down from my cheeks.. i can't believe people are still under danger from flood, aftershock, mudslide, and so on... i don't know why so many little children died, i don't know why most of the school collaspe...i can't look at the picture of a child holding a pencil in her hand while her body turned pale under the rubbles...................

i wish i can go back and help them now... Prayer after Prayer, i know this is his message to us. our time is running short, we need to save more soul before time ran out. God, please keep the victims from tragedy in your warm big palm, please keep the souls who died from the earthquake in heaven, please use your powerful hand to push the rubble and concrete that is still harming those people who are still breathing under the rubbles, please keep them warm in the freezing night, and please heal the souls that is still trembling of the tragedy. Thank you my Lord!
